With summer right around the corner, right now is the perfect time to get your kids into the swing of making reading a habit over the summer.

I found this great free printable that will help motivate kids to read over the summer.

How it does it work? You and your child need to set an appropriate time goal on their reading bingo card. They will read in all sorts of magical places to fill in their card. When they hit BINGO, they get a coupon; when they get a complete BLACKOUT (filling every square) they get a golden ticket.

Each time your child finishes a book, they earn a banner piece. They can draw a picture or write a few sentences in the blank space that tells what the book was about.
