The Night Before Christmas Shenanigans!

Christmas Gift Ideas
A couple of weeks ago I had this great idea for all the kids on Christmas Eve. It's so tough for any child to look at all the Christmas presents and not be able to open just one.

I thought it would be neat to allow the kids to open a gift, that isn't pajamas, and be able to use the gift instantly. This Christmas Eve gift idea is great for everyone! The kids will be entertained, parents won't have to entertain as much and no one will be jealous...hopefully!

Christmas GamesI created these Christmas Eve Gift Labels. I plan on telling the kids that Santa came to me with the special task of delivering an early Christmas package on Christmas Eve. The labels are attached to a USPS Priority Box. I figured it would make things look more official for the kids. I made 7 boxes in total (2 extras for any kids that may show up to our Christmas Eve family party).

Reindeer Noses Holiday Gift Labels
In each of the boxes I have included a Christmas coloring activity, a hacky sack, crayons, pencil, gum, straw and hot cocoa (includes marshmallows of course). I will regret including the hacky sack and gum later. I am also bringing adorable paper Christmas cups for the hot  cocoa and tons of coloring sheets and emergency crayons!

I am also coming prepared with games such as pin the nose on the reindeer and hide and sock!

Our family has about 5 little ones under the age of seven! Some don't believe in Santa, but I have to convince them to play along for the rest.
These Christmas holiday gift labels are perfect for taking to school. I plan on attaching the label to 18 paper lunch bags for Chloe's class.

On the label, I will put "Reindeer Noses Love, Chloe."

Celebrate Good Cheer and Bring Some Beer

I couldn't resist doing these fun holiday party invitations that I am about to share with you.

Christmas Party Invitations
My Sticky Pad of IDEAS!
Last week, I was working on custom party invitations when a customer said come up with a catchy phrase that included: party, cheer and celebration. I kept thinking of words that rhymed with cheer and came up with beer. My customer thought the invitation was fun, but I ended up switching the wording for her more conservative family and friends.

I jotted down the phrase on my sticky pad.

Well this is the product of those drunkin' invitations! What do you think? Funny thing about these invitations is that as soon as I uploaded on Facebook and Etsy, I received orders! Go figure!

Happy drunkin' holidays :)

Chevron Christmas Party Invitations

Take a look at these Chevron and Snowflake Christmas party invitations.

I am absolutely in love with the lime green and red color combo.

Just yesterday I had a client show me a picture of a Christmas gift label she found. She wanted me to mimic the design using the lime green chevron.

The chevron design can be used for almost any party idea. The chevron design is trending for baby showers.

This week I plan on experimenting with the chevron design and holiday party invitations. I want to use less common colors associated with Christmas and the holidays.

Any ideas?

Chalkboard Holiday Party Invitations

Chalkboard Holiday Party Invitations
These chalkboard party invitations are so much fun! I was inspired after watching Chloe draw on a Yankee candle jar that I had spray painted with chalkboard paint.

The chalkboard background was created with Illustrator using the gradient tools.

These invitations are a great choice if you are looking to have a New Years Eve Party, Christmas Party or any other holiday party.

Christmas Party Invitations

Christmas Chevron Invitations
Red Chevron Christmas Party Invitations
For the first few years of my life, I was a bit jealous that I never received Christmas party invitations or holiday greeting cards. At the age of six I took it upon myself to create my own greeting cards...to myself. I would create fake invitations and pretend I was going to some spectacular party.

Now, I prefer making the greeting cards and invitations. I love making people feel excited to attend some spectacular party or event.

There are so many ideas I have for this Christmas season. For the past couple of weeks I have been working on a few designs. I've been holding out on what I have in mind for this holiday season.

But because I can't keep a secret to save my life, here are a couple of sneak peaks at some custom orders.

Holiday Shenanigans: 5 Reasons Why You Should Have a Christmas Party

Ugly Christmas Sweaters
I look for any reason to play dress up. If I can dream up a theme with matching outfits, invitations and food, than it's a dress up party.

Christmas isn't my favorite holiday (Easter is), but I still love and enjoy the month of December! There is so much to do, buy, make, bake, you name it! For the past few years I have been going to Christmas parties with friends and coworkers. Each year, the parties get more fun, tacky and wild!

The tackier a party is, the more likely people will show up...and in flocks!

So why have a Christmas Party?

Holiday Party Invitations
  • Everyone can play dress up, inexpensively! I love rummaging through Walmart and finding tacky holiday clothes for a Christmas party. Today I dropped by Walmart and found a hideous sweater for $6.97....and I bought it! Why? Because it's hilarious and I want to win a prize at the next Christmas Party I attend!
  • Networking and Socializing. I like hanging out with people like me. So if were at a party, and I see someone else joking around and engaging in Shenanigans, I want to hang out with that person. A holiday party is a great way to network with other employees from different departments at work.
  • Party Decorations. I love walking into a room filled with glitter, banners, color and balloons. If you came to a party grumpy, the party decorations will pick you right back up!
  • Food, Food and more Junk! Let's hope that the next Christmas Party you attend has more than just chips and dip. Always look at the cupcakes or desserts. They are a sign of the quality of the foods you are about to see. If you are a picky eater, bring your own dish to the party.
  • Drinks.
Don't wait until the last minute to throw your own Christmas party or go to one. Go ahead and buy your ugly Christmas sweater and purchase some snazzy printable invitations from my Etsy Shop.
