If you're family is anything like mine, the best and most amazing dishes are made on Sunday, with plenty to spare.

I found these free recipe printables online and had to share! There a few options to choose from, or you can mix and match to make one heck of a recipe book.

These printables are great for keeping track of mom's cornbread or other family recipes floating around.

A sweet printable recipe

I love coming across family recipes, especially when the recipe is recorded on paper in a fun way.

I was browsing pinterest and came across a chocolate chip cookie recipe. It's your typical chocolate chip cookies, but bundled up on paper in a cute way.

I'm thinking it's time that I start transcribing all the recipes I have onto paper in a fun way as well!

For the first few years of my life, I was a bit jealous that I never received Christmas party invitations or holiday greeting cards. At the age of six I took it upon myself to create my own greeting cards...to myself. I would create fake invitations and pretend I was going to some spectacular party.

Now, I prefer making the greeting cards and invitations. I love making people feel excited to attend some spectacular party or event.


There are so many ideas I have for this Christmas season. For the past couple of weeks I have been working on a few designs. I've been holding out on what I have in mind for this holiday season.

Bridal Shower and Wedding Shower Game Idea: He Said She Said

When it comes to bridal showers, baby showers and wedding showers, I am a sucker for the games. The traditional games are always a fan favorite. But I prefer new games, or games that require audience participation. Bridal shower and wedding shower games are a great way to find out 2 things about the bride, groom or new parents:

• Their sense of humor
• How much effort was put into the shower

The bridal shower game I want to share with you is He Said She Said. I love this game. You can go simple or be very tricky and creative. 

I created the game on InDesign using the requests and information my client provided. She asked for specific colors and fonts.

The game is a great idea for friends and family who think they know the bride and groom well. On this particular He Said She Said bridal shower game, my client provided examples that applied to both her and her future husband.

The cutest part of the wedding shower game are the mustache and lipstick kiss.

Meet Your West Palm Beach Design Artist and DIY Expert!

So here I am! For those of you who haven't had the privilege of knowing or meeting me, my name is Jessi! I LOVE EVERYTHING CUTE! Seriously. I have always been good with crafts, ideas and DIY projects.

Thanks to the University of Florida for helping me realize that I hate science, but love science projects, am stunning with a computer and can pretty much make all your design needs come true.

After I left UF, I decided to really hone in on my design skills. I have been designing party invitations, wall art, websites and and blogs for a few years now. I absolutely love what I do and I wouldn't trade anything for the world.

But designing, pinning designs and dreaming designs isn't all that I do. I have been in a terrific relationship for the last 2 years. I do all the techy stuff for a garden center on the skirts of Palm Beach Gardens that my sweetum runs. While I chat to customers on the phone, blog, tweet and play with our Asian-look-alike dog, he does the tough stuff!

I also do a lot of public relations consulting, marketing for organizations and businesses in West Palm Beach and Wellington, and beginning in January, I will be teaching courses on Blogging and Graphic Design :)

Two of the biggest reasons I do what I do, and am good at it is because of two spectacular parents. I promise not to get too cheesy, but my parents are my biggest fans. They get me and what I do. They question the obvious but never limit my potential and all the possibilities.

They provide inspiration for a lot of my designs too!

But I couldn't go without mentioning two of my BIGGEST inspirations, and the reason why I love teaching and DIY gifts for teachers. My little bear and little Miss T. 

My stepdaughter and niece are my idea generators! I can't get enough of them and their spontaneous personalities. 

To top it off, my sister-in-law has another bun in the oven due in February of 2013!
